Florida’s statewide Milestone Inspection requirements apply to qualifying residential condominium and cooperative buildings and focus on structural safety. Boynton Beach has its own local Building Recertification Program, which covers certain threshold buildings as well and includes electrical inspection requirements.
The City’s own materials sometimes use both terms, which can make the distinction confusing. If your building falls under both sets of requirements, your engineer can help determine what needs to be inspected and submitted.
